Refund and cancellation policy

How to cancel a Citeply subscription, request a Paddle refund, and resolve a billing or access issue.

Last updated 14 August 2026

Direct purchases through Paddle

Paddle acts as authorized reseller and merchant of record for eligible Citeply purchases. Paddle processes payment, taxes, invoices or receipts, renewals, cancellations, chargebacks, and refunds under the Paddle Buyer Terms and Refund Policy. Paddle does not operate the Citeply application; Engin Mutluremains responsible for product delivery and product support.

Unless applicable law, Paddle's policy, or an accepted order provides otherwise, completed transactions are non-refundable. This does not limit mandatory withdrawal, refund, defect, or consumer rights. Paddle's current policy includes jurisdiction-specific time limits and may grant discretionary, full, or partial refunds.

Requesting a refund

Use the View receipt or Manage subscription link in the Paddle confirmation email, open the Paddle billing portal from Citeply, or visit paddle.net and choose the refund option. Paddle verifies the transaction, eligibility, statutory period, product access, and payment method.

For a product defect or access problem, contact support@citeply.com with the Paddle transaction ID and billing email before filing a payment dispute. Never send card details, passwords, authentication codes, or purchase tokens.

Cancellation and renewal

An active subscription may be canceled through the Paddle portal. Cancellation prevents the next renewal and normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period; it does not automatically refund that period. If a full refund or chargeback hold is approved, product access may end when the authenticated lifecycle event is processed. A partial refund does not automatically terminate the whole subscription.
